Graphic Tech Clutch by Jen Garrido & Helen Levi
Jen Garrido is a fine painter who is known for her work sculpting paint on canvas, playing with negative space and painting abstract images inspired by nature. Jen has a side business under a pen name "Jenny Pennywood” under which she paints continuous graphic prints and has them screen printed on linen cloth and paper goods and fabricated into tea towels, napkins and notebooks. Jenny Pennywood is a concept Jen developed in economic hard times when folks weren't buying fine art as willfully was they used to. It was a creative way to continue to create and share her work with the world on a different scale and in a more utilitarian way.
We worked with Jen to develop this beautiful, exclusive, graphic screen-printed clutch in natural or grey on slubby linen with a protective ivory wool lining. The pouch is fit to hold an iPad or tablet, and also all your other necessities with it's generous size and great look. We asked our friend and ceramicist Helen Levi to adorn the bag with a touch of bling. She hand made us a white demi lune porcelain bead that she half-dipped in a shiny blue glaze. We attached the bead with a dark brown leather cord for a final special touch. Made exclusive for Half Hitch Goods.
