Vintage Heath Cup & Saucer Set - Sea & Sand
Heath Ceramics was founded in 1948 in Sausalito, CA by Edith Heath who was a talented ceramicist with a simple goal of making good things for good people. Over the years she pioneered advances in glaze development and a technique of single kiln firing at lower temperatures to save energy and create a durable product that stands the test of time. Heath Ceramics are part of the permanent collection at the MOMA in San Francisco, displaying mid century iconic design with a Scandinavian influence.
This is a beautiful set of four Coupe-style teacups and saucers in the discontinued but iconic Sea & Sand glaze. In great handmade vintage condition. Colors may vary from piece to piece due to the handmade nature of the ceramics as well as natural variations in the glazes.
