Handmade Leather Belt - Natural
Mat Brown is an experienced craftsman who trained for years in New York with some of the most experienced leather workers in the fashion industry creating cutting edge handbags and leather goods.
These belts were exclusively made with the highest quality for Half Hitch Goods and 25% of the profits from this belt will be donated to the Blind Children's Learning Center in Santa Ana, CA. Sumptuous un-dyed American leather hide was cut and tooled by Mat Brown in San Francisco. The belt has no color on it and will wear in to a beautiful deep brown color with wear. Until then, the leather is very raw and takes on distress from light, oil, and any type of handeling. He cuts each belt carefully and individually and uses old school hand tools to apply holes and hardware. The nickel buckle is slightly distressed, streamlined and yet has just the right amount of weight to it. Each piece is carefully finished with a blue or white waxed thread detail only slightly visible and subtly branded "Half Hitch" on the inside end. 1 1/4" wide. Size measurements below indicate actual inch length measuring from the buckle to middle loop and should reflect waist sizes where pants actually sit on hips and not pant sizes (we suggest measuring the circumference of where you wear your pants in inches just to be safe). Heirloom quality, made in the USA.
